I can't honestly say I know what everyone does for a living. Please click on "comment," and let us know what your title is and what you do at work, where you work, and how long you've been there. Also, please let us know what your highest degree is and what it is in.

I am an LPN working at Banner Estrella Hospital in the Emergency Department. I am taking online courses in the slow but ongoing effort to finish my pre-reqs and enroll in an RN program.

I am an RN and am currently the Senior Clincial Manager (Assistant Director of Nursing) on the MedSurg/Oncology floor at Banner Estrella Medical Center (BEMC). I have worked there since they opened 2.5 years ago. I have an associate degree and am currently working on my bachelor's on nursing degree. I love nursing! If I have to work, I want to feel that I'm giving service and not just earning a paycheck!

I am an LPN(licensed practical nurse), and forever student(with April). I work at BEMC(with Mom and April) wherever the staffing office sends me. I work at Maryvale hospital, too (for now)

Gee, I want Chantal's job! She's got it pretty good! I get to be a SAHM (figure out the acronym), and also have a job at Southwest Airlines as a flight attendant. Prior to moving to AZ, I finished three years at the Univ. of Utah. After moving to AZ and marrying my sweet guy, he finished paying it off for me! Haha! My initial major was sociology and then doubled to that and social and behaviorial science.

On Kolby's behalf- He is a professional wrestler, you may have seen him on pay-per-view. He is also a daddy, a hubby, a lawn-mower, and much more. He works for the University of Phoenix as a manager, along with his lil' bro Kort and his lil' bro in law, Karl. In 2006, Kolby recieved his Bachelors from the Univ. of Phx, he makes me so proud!

My "title" is Office Manager of Papago School. I do all of the budget, payroll, human resource stuff, and whatever my Principal needs. I have been working at Papago for 17 years...and in this position I am starting my 6th year I think it is. While I love my job and the people I work with my favorite job ever is that of wife and mom!! What a blessing both have been in my life.

I am in my 14th year of being a Car Dog! I have gone from bottom of the totem pole to Sales Manager, Fleet Director and now back to just a Fleet Manager. I didn't enjoy the "Babysitting" of grown Men and listening to crying. I am content in being my own boss (well with Dawn being my boss) this gives me time at home and the ability to come and go when I want to.

I am too a SAHM.. I also control the weather here with all the tornado's that go on in my house. Maybe I don't actually control them but I sure have to clean up after them! I went to school for massage with chantal and want to go back to get my bachelors.

On behalf of Shawn- he owns a landscape company with his Dad and a friend. He is the creative one in the group- doing all the design's. He also runs the office, keeps everyone happy and under control and handles the money. He also doubles as SUPERMAN.. but now that you know that- we're going to have to erase your memory.

On behalf of Kyle, he just started working for Gatorade, something in the warehouse. He and I both work night shift. He works 3-4 12 hour shifts, and I work 2.

Well, I am a highly successful cage fighter. I find it very rewarding...Sike! I am an Enrollment Manager for the University of Phoenix...Not to be confused with Phoenix College. My beautiful wife is a dental assistant for now but is currently in school working towards her hard earned credits to be a Dental Hygienist. Don't smile...she just might critique the poo out of your teeth.

As for me, I am too a SAHM to my three beautiful kids. However, I do have a tiny little part time job (12 hours a week at the most) working for one of my best friends, JoAnna. JoAnna & her husband Bryon own their own masonry business and I do their accounts payables & payroll. It's the perfect job! Plus, working with them is a huge bonus. I also volunteer with a charity org. called Golden WHEEL. We raise money for West Valley charities & high school scholarships. We have a Gala each Dec., and this year I'm the Chairwoman of the Gala! Crazy! We are expecting 600 guests. Oh boy....what have I gotten myself into....

He's had some great guys and gals on his crew since he's been there. He loves loves loves his job.

I don't know tht anyone would call it a living... but I have a small buisness pedaling a around a cart selling ice cream from a container that looks like a trash can, but in the winter I sell apples in the latin neighborhoods yelling ... manzana, manzana, manzana.

Actually I am a law student here in San Diego and we live on finacial aid. I like to think of it as the future me supporting the present me.

thats cute brian! made me laugh!

SuperMommy said...

Toni, are you wonder woman or what? In response to all the SAHM career women, I must admit that my former job as a SAHM was my all-time favorite job. It was the most rewarding, fun, and left me with the best memories. I miss those days! I am so impressed that Hugh is teaching his firefighters Spanish! In fact, I'm impressed with everyone on this page!

Okay so it's taken me a little while. I am also SAHM and have been for going on 7 years. I'm like 2 credits away from an AA in elementary education. A good friend of mine boutiques and has let me display my hooded bath towels with all of her cute stuff (and they've actually sold!) So I'm now trying to get Lynette to go in will me and start up a line of baby boutique items, but seeing as how we both have new baby girls it's taking a little longer than hoped. Charmaine I'll hopefully be calling on you soon to design my web site. I've also thought about getting a car magnet that says "Can't sew your button on? Is your hem stapled or taped? Tall, but not tall enough so your pants need taken up? Call Dawn for all your minor (and some not so minor) seemstress needs?" What do think? Crazy or Creative?

Charmaine said...

Dawn - I think it's way creative, although a little wordy. Super idea though, I think I would just take it down by a couple of words so that people have time to read all the way through it while they're driving behind you. You need to get the vinyl lettering. Jenny is thinking about getting a a vinyl cutter. Ask her about it.

Dawn-I like the "Can't sew your button on?" --I would just use that+Call Dawn.... Super Cute!!
